Lichfield Safe Centre is a family-owned business with offices and a dedicated showroom in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Founded in 1989 by Michael Johnson, we have spent over 35 years building a trusted reputation for providing high-quality security solutions to both private and commercial clients across the UK.

With decades of experience, we specialise in helping our customers protect what matters most—whether that’s cash, valuables, important documents, or firearms. Our extensive product range, combined with expert knowledge, allows us to offer tailored solutions to suit a wide variety of requirements.

We provide nationwide delivery and installation, carried out entirely by our in-house team of experienced installers. Because we handle every installation ourselves, we can offer flexible scheduling, including a convenient two-hour arrival window, so you always know when to expect us.

If you prefer to see safes in person, our showroom in Lichfield is open to visitors. We display a wide selection of both new and second-hand safes, and our friendly team is happy to guide you through the range. Seeing our products in person allows you to appreciate the build quality, security features, and variety of options, helping you make a confident, informed decision.

Michael Johnson
Founder & Director

Michael leads the Lichfield Safe Centre team with calm, clarity, and decades of experience, ensuring every project runs smoothly and the team stays on track. He specialises in advising on bespoke technical projects, including panic rooms, vaults, and deposit centres, combining deep expertise with practical solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Outside of work, Michael is a certified scuba diving master and a passionate sports enthusiast. Whether he’s exploring underwater or following his favourite teams, his energy, focus, and dedication shine through both in and out of the office.

Gail Johnson
Director

Gail brings a creative, hands-on approach to leadership, combining her skills as an interior designer with a talent for problem-solving and innovative thinking. She specialises in leading bespoke safe projects, ensuring that each design is not only secure but also tailored beautifully to suit each client’s space and style.

Outside of work, Gail is a certified dive master and an accomplished underwater photographer, capturing the wonders of life beneath the surface. Her creativity, attention to detail, and passion for tackling challenges make her an inspiring and dynamic part of the Lichfield Safe Centre team.

Chloe Jones
Office Manager

Chloe keeps our team organised and running smoothly every day, ensuring that the office operates efficiently and that the team has all the support they need. She is also the creative mind behind our bespoke safe designs, combining security with style to create solutions that are both practical and beautifully crafted.

Outside of work, Chloe is always seeking new challenges. She enjoys learning Spanish, pushing herself with rock climbing adventures, and embracing opportunities to learn and grow—whether it’s a new skill or an exciting experience. Her curiosity, creativity, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the Lichfield Safe Centre team, and her positive energy keeps everyone motivated and inspired.

Rosie Foster
Sales and Accounting

Rosie keeps our accounts perfectly in order, combining precision with a warm and approachable manner that makes her a joy to work with. She ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, keeping the team on track and the numbers balanced and her product knowledge is outstanding!

Outside of work, Rosie loves relaxing with a good romcom, spending quality time with her beloved pug Lola, and indulging in her favourite treat—chocolate brownies. Her attention to detail, positivity, and friendly nature make her an essential part of the Lichfield Safe Centre team.

Our Logistics / Installation Team

Our logistics team keeps everything moving smoothly at Lichfield Safe Centre. From delivering compact home safes to installing large commercial vaults, they handle every project with care, expertise, and a can-do attitude.

Friendly, approachable, and always professional, the team works closely with customers to provide flexible scheduling, personalised delivery windows, and expert installation support. Their dedication and attention to detail make sure every safe arrives and is installed securely, giving our clients complete peace of mind—and often a smile along the way!
