Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

How to return an item

To request a return, please email info@lichfieldsafecentre.co.uk with your order details and reason for return.

Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide you with:

  • Return instructions

  • A reference number (where applicable)

  • The correct return address, which may vary depending on the product and manufacturer

Some items may need to be returned directly to one of our UK manufacturing partners rather than to our Lichfield office.

Please ensure your return includes:

  • A brief signed note explaining the reason for return

  • A copy of your original receipt or proof of purchase

Items returned without prior authorisation or without following the provided return instructions may not be accepted or processed.


Return exceptions

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty or misdescribed:

  • Made-to-order, bespoke, or non-standard products

  • Items that have been opened, used, installed, or altered

  • Products not returned in their original condition and packaging


Installation & service costs

Where delivery, installation, removal, or other services have been carried out, these service costs are non-refundable, except where a service has not been provided as agreed or a fault has been confirmed.


 Refunds & restocking fees

  • All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund

  • Original delivery, shipping, handling, and installation charges are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.


Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.


Payment Policy

Accepted payment methods

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard)

  • Cheque

  • Bank Transfer

Cash on delivery is not accepted.


Card payments

Your card will be charged at the time your order is placed.
If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
